1. What ScanTOdeal does

ScanTOdeal is a software service that lets asset owners create public pages for assets offered for sale or rent, connect those pages to physical assets using QR codes, and receive inquiries from interested people.

2. Information we process

We may process account information such as your name and email, business contact information you choose to add, asset listing information and media, subscription and billing status, inquiry information submitted by prospective buyers or renters, and technical usage information used for security and analytics.

3. Inquiry information

When you submit an inquiry, the contact details and message you provide are shared with the owner of the relevant asset so they can respond. The asset owner is responsible for how they use that information after receiving it.

4. Payments

Paid ScanTOdeal subscriptions are processed by Stripe. ScanTOdeal does not store your full card details. Stripe may process payment, billing and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy terms.

5. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, publish asset pages at the owner's request, deliver inquiries, operate subscriptions, support users, prevent abuse, and understand how the service is used.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Owners can delete listings and inquiries from their account. You may request erasure at any time, including during an active subscription. Self-service account closure does not confirm complete erasure of identity records, uploaded files, backups or information held by other sellers. We review requests and explain any data we must retain.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export personal information and to object to certain processing. You can contact us regarding privacy requests at scantodeal@gmail.com.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use technologies needed for authentication, security and basic service operation. Optional asset page-view and contact-click analytics are controlled by Privacy preferences. YouTube embeds stay unloaded until you allow them through preferences or a per-video choice. Operational inquiry records and security checks are separate from optional analytics.

10. Requests, providers and public content

You can request access, export, correction, restriction or erasure without purchasing a plan. We may verify your identity proportionately. Where GDPR applies, we normally respond within one month; any permitted extension is communicated within that period. You may complain to the competent data protection authority. Request details and contact information are available to authorised administrators for handling the request.

Our service uses Base44 for application services, Stripe for subscription payments and Cloudflare Turnstile for anti-abuse verification. Inquiries and events also pass through api.scantodeal.com. When you choose to load YouTube videos, Google receives technical information. Providers may process information outside your country. Contact us for information about applicable safeguards.

Asset descriptions, photos and documents are public and links can be forwarded. Seller contact fields are intended to be shown after sign-in; sign-in does not certify the viewer's identity. An inquiry shares your details with the relevant owner and authorised team so they can respond. Submitting an inquiry is not permission for unrelated marketing.
